Recently, Newsonic's TC-SAW and BAW series of filter products have passed the AEC-Q200 automotive specification certification, marking Newsonic as the first filter company in China to pass the automotive-grade test certification.
On the afternoon of October 10, 2024, Newsonic and Giga Force jointly attended and witnessed the certification ceremony.
The AEC-Q200 certification is established by the Automotive Electronics Council to ensure that automotive-grade chips can still maintain reliability and durability under extreme conditions. Compared with consumer-grade and industrial-grade filters, automotive-grade filters face more severe working environments, posing higher requirements for product reliability, safety, and performance.
The successful certification of Newsonic Semiconductor's TC-SAW and BAW series filters fully demonstrates the company's strong technical strength and strict quality control system.
Taking NSV73171A (n71 DPX) and NSV92141FC (n41 TRX) as examples, both products have high performance, high Q value, wide temperature application, high reliability, and excellent environmental adaptability. They have shown world-class standards in tests against rigorous standards.

RF front-end chips are a crucial part of ensuring automotive wireless communication, among which the design and manufacturing of automotive filters are the current focus that needs to be broken through. Zhang Zhihang, a director of Newsonic, said, "Driven by customer needs, to fill the domestic gap in automotive-grade automotive filters, Newsonic has leveraged its profound technical accumulation and innovative capabilities to take the lead in China in creating high-end products that meet automotive-grade standards for stability and reliability."
Ni Weihua, Executive Vice President of Giga Force, affirmed Newsonic's products, stating, "The AEC-Q200 certification marks Newsonic 's transition from consumer-grade to automotive-grade, proving that Newsonic's filter technology has reached an internationally leading level."
In the future, we will continue to increase the investment in the research and development of automotive RF chips, fill more domestic gaps in automotive frequency band automotive-grade filters, and accelerate the domestic replacement process of high-end automotive-grade RF chips.
